I pulled this small unit from VW Golf 5 diesel.
I intend to use it as heater unit in those temperatures when webasto is not quite required, but it is good to warm up the interior and windshield.
I tested it on all three positive inputs. Quriously after the second contact is joined power drawn does not double like it would be obvious. On 1st it draws 26A, on 2nd it requires 42A and on 3rd max 53A! That is 14Vdc from the aux battery.
I just need a place to fit the heater so the air will flow past it and heat up the channels to get warm air on the windshield.
