I had a visit couple of days back. Andrej came with Remy HVH250 motor cartridge from BMW hybrid car. I was allways a bit sceptical about such small motor and 160kW rating!
Well we mounted the motor on my bench and i setup Lebowski controler to accept and read motor parameters.
Remy HVH250, Li= 667uH, Ri= 50mOhm, 300Arms, 700Vdc(our voltage went to 380Vdc)
I managed to get it to run at 5400RPM on current voltage. Motor would give no more.
Then i tried to give it 75% weakening current. So for 100A phase current i setup 75A regen current. Motor went up to 9800RPM!
Bearings are supposed to be lubricated by Dexron IV oil that also cools the windings.
